We support the introduction and development of energy efficiency and innovation in both conservation and new-build schemes to Country Houses.
We are constantly researching new construction methods, materials, and technology to promote energy efficiency and to reduce the wastage and carbon footprint of our projects.
Innovations incorporated into projects include:
- Designing and installing a “breathable” roof insulation system to an historic Country House
- Biomass heating systems and underground heat distribution to a Country House estate
- Estate-wide building control systems and services monitoring
- Air handling and heat recovery;
- Ground and air source heat pump systems
- Bore hole water supplies, rainwater harvesting and distribution for WC and garden use
- Acoustic attenuation of air conditioning units
- State-of-the-art cinema projection and sound systems
